Lipulekh: The tensions between the China and India are continously rising in Ladakh. China is trying every possible means to provoke India. China is using neighbouring country as part of its strategy against India. China is aiding Nepal to carry anti-India demonstrations along the Nepal- India Border. India-Nepal shares border of 1700 Km.
Intelligence agency have issued an alert saying that the Chinese Embassy in Nepal has provided financial assistance of Rs 2.5 crore (Nepalese rupees) for anti-India demonstrations along the Indo-Nepal border areas. China is interfering Nepal’s internal and political affairs as it can be seen through India’s recent border disputes and interventions. The relations between India and Nepal have sour due to border tensions and increasing influence on the Himalayan nation.
The Government of Nepal on Wednesday has asked its army to keep an eye on the activities of the Indian Army. The Lipulekh in Uttarakhand directly connects the border of India, Nepal and China. In the month of July itself, it had stationed a thousand soldiers near Pala and built a permanent post. According to sources, two thousand more soldiers have been deployed at this post on behalf of China few days ago.
There has been a rift in India’s diplomatic relations with Nepal after India started road construction in areas of Lipulekh. Nepal released a new map stating Lipulekh as its territory. India is constructing road to make Kailas Mansarovar Yatra easy. China is using it for its own benefits in the backdrop of political relations between India and Nepal.
