Deccan Express |Pune Crime News: Pune police on Sunday booked a transgender person who not only allegedly beat up a woman but also robbed her money. The accused also beaten up another woman and tore her clothes in Uttamnagar area.

Based on a complaint by a 40-year-old woman, Uttamnagar police station under the jurisdiction of Pune city police registered a case and arrested the 40-year-old accused.

According to police, the incident took place around 7 am on Saturday. A woman was sitting in front of a vegetable shop in Uttamnagar. The accused tried to forcibly take her money. A complainant who was standing nearby went to rescue her. Then the accused beaten her up with batons tore her clothes and snatched Rs 250 from her.

According to police, the accused dragged her on the street and kicked her. Later the transgender also thrashed two other women. Waghmare, an assistant police inspector from Uttamnagar police station is investigating the case further.


Pune Crime News | Loni Kalbhor police arrested a 30-year-old for allegedly a four-year-old girl after luring her with snacks.

The incident came to light when the victim’s mother found her crying with bite marks on her lips and cheeks.

Based on a complaint by the mother, Loni Kalbhor police station has arrested the accused. He was presented in court and the court has remanded him to police custody till July 7.

According to police, the accused hails from Bihar and works as a laborer. On Saturday afternoon he allegedly lured the girl who was playing outside her house. The under the pretext of giving her snacks took her to his room and sexually assaulted her.
