Pune : deccan express – Pune crime | The Pune police investigating the State Health Department question paper leak case have arrested five more people. Among the arrested are the chief administrative officer of the Latur public health department, a doctor and teachers. So far, 11 people have been arrested in the case.
The State Health Department had conducted the written examination for recruiting the D Category posts. The question paper was leaked and was circulated on social media. (Pune crime )
The arrested have been identified as Chief Administrative Officer Prashant Vyankatrao Badgire (50), a resident of Ambajogai (dist. Beed), Dr Sandeep Trimbakaro Jogdand (36), a resident of Ambajogai (dist. Beed), Uddhav Pralhad Nagargoje (36), a resident of Titarwane, taluka Shirur Kasar (dist. Beed), Shyam Mahadu Mhaske (38), a resident of Ambajogai (dist. Beed), Rajendra Pandurang Sanap (51), a resident of Shyamnagar (dist. Beed).
According to Cyber Crime Branch DCP Bhagyashree Navatake, Anil Gaikwad, Vijay Murhade, Prakash Misal, Sandip Bhutekar, Baban Mundhe and Suresh Jagtap have already been arrested.
State health department Chief Administrative Officer Smita Karegaonkar lodged a complaint with the Pune Cyber Police in this regard. An FIR has been registered at the cyber police station.
The Pune cyber police arrested five persons based on an analysis during the technical probe. They were produced in the Shivajinagar court and have been remanded to police custody till December 12.
This action was taken by PSI Amol Waghmare, Sandesh Karne, Navnath Jadhav, Shirish Gawde and Prasad Potdar under the guidance of Commissioner of police Amitabh Gupta, Joint Commissioner of Police Dr Ravindra Shisve, Additional Commissioner of Police Ramnath Pokale and DCP Bhagyashree Navatake.
