Mumbai man live-streams death by suicide; Girlfriend provokes him to do so

Dombivali : Deccan ExpressA 27-year-old man has committed suicide in Kalyan after his girlfriend told him, “I don’t need you, go and die.”

Deceased young man ended his life by going live on Facebook at his residence in Kalyan West area. The young man has said in Facebook Live that he is committing suicide due to love affair.

The police have registered a case of accidental death at Mahatma Phule Chowk police station. Ankush Namdev Pawar (27) is the name of the youth who committed suicide.

Pawar Ankush was resident of Pimpalgaon-Renukai village in Bhokardan taluka of Jalna district. Ankush came to Kalyan in search of work four years ago due to poor living conditions.

He was working as a warden in a private hospital. During this time, he met a divorced young woman. After that, the acquaintance turned into love.

Ankush was having an affair with the girl for the last three years. So the couple decided to get married.

Ankush was depositing his salary money with his girlfriend to get married. However, Ankush came to know that the money collected was being spent for partying and having fun. So he asked his girlfriend about it.

Ankush committed suicide by doing Facebook Live at around 7.30 am on Thursday. Before committing suicide, he said that he is committing suicide due to issues in love relationship. Relatives of Ankush have alleged that his son committed suicide due to harassment by his girlfriend. Police are investigating the matter.
