Pune : deccan express -District Guardian Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has reacted to the involvement of top government officers in the MahaTET question paper leak scam.
Some officers do not behave properly after getting responsibilities. Hence, people also get confused as to what exactly is happening. Wads of notes are found at their residences. This is a fresh example. Who is this Supe? The state legislature has been informed that whoever is involved will not be spared. Nobody has the right to play with children’s future, said Ajit Pawar.
He was speaking at the inaugural function of the Maharashtra State Faculty Development Academy building in the city.
Relatives of Maharashtra State Council of Examination Commissioner Tukaram Supe, who is one of the main accused and has been suspended from the services in the question paper leak scam, have returned Rs 58 lakhs to the Pune Cyber Police given to them by Supe. A person who had borrowed Rs 5 lakhs from Supe has also given back the money to the police.
Hence, the seized amount from Tupe has crossed Rs 3 crore. The police busted the MahaTET scam after they got leads while investigating the Mhada question paper leak. They arrested Tupe and technical consultant Abhishek Savrikar in the scam.
