Jio offers annual prepaid plan @ Rs 1,299 with unlimited calls

MUMBAI: Long-term prepaid plans come in handy to users as they do not have to recharge every month, as users can finish off the process in one go. It also has one more benefit — saving users from the potential tariff hikes in the future.

Last year the telecom companies had proposed to the government to set a minimum floor price for data and calls. Telecom company Jio is currently offering plans from which users can select to dodge the inevitable tariff hikes as well as the hassle of short-term recharges.

Jio’s Rs 1,299 plan gives 24GB data with unlimited on-net calls and 3,600 SMS and a validity of 336 days. Earlier the validity was 365 days.

The plan now offers unlimited domestic calls to any network within the country. The plan offers 24GB data at high speed, post which you will unlimited data @ 64 Kbps. The telco also gives a complimentary subscription to Jio apps.
