Nashik: Mother and son died on the spot after 2 two-wheelers collided head-on with each other. The unfortunate incident took place around 8 pm on Monday (24) on the parallel road near the new Adgaon Naka on the Mumbai-Agra highway. An accident case has been registered at Panchavati police station in this regard.
The deceased have been identified as Anjanabai Natha Khillare (60) and Dadarao Natha Khillare (40) of Bhogaon, Jintur, Parbhani.
According to the information received, Dhammapal Khillare, a resident of Kalanagar on Dindori Road, was traveling on a two-wheeler along with his mother Anjanabai and brother Dadarao at around 8 pm on Monday. At that time, an Activa collided head-on. The wheel of the two-wheeler broke and the two-wheeler collided with the divider and Anjanabai and Dadarao, the driver Dhammapal fell from their vehicle.
Anjanabai and Dadarao were critically injured and rushed to the hospital. However, the doctors examined them and declared them dead whereas Dhammapala was also injured. A case has been registered in this regard at Panchavati police station. Dhammapal is employed as a watchman in the Kalanagar Mhada Building on Dindori Road. A few days ago, mother Anjanabai and brother Dadarao had both come from Parbhani to meet Dhammapala. As he wanted to return to his hometown on Monday, his son Dhammapal was going to pick him up at Nashik Road railway station on a two-wheeler and this unfortunate incident took place.
