SPPU: Six lakh students to appear for second-semester exams

Deccan Express |    Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) also known as Pune Univeristy has announced second-semester exams recently. A total of six lakh students have registered for the examination so far.

The examination for the various graduate, diploma, and post-graduate courses will begin from July 12, mentioned the notification issued by the university recently.

The timetable for the courses like humanities, engineering, commerce faculty has been uploaded on the university website. Around six lakh students will appear for the 4195 subjects under 284 faculties.

Like the main examination, SPPU has announced a mock test before this second-semester exams too. The mock test examination will be conducted between July 8 and July 10.

The online examination would be conducted as per the proctored method. Multiple-choice questions (MCQ) and the result will be declared within 48 hours. Students who are not satisfied with the evaluation would have two days to apply for the corrections. The timings for the examination are 9 am to 11 am and 3 pm to 5 pm every day.

Students who have failed to pay their exam fees will not be able to appear for the exams, informed university officials.

Grievance redressal
Students facing issues will be able to register a complaint with the university. However, there are certain issues for which only the complaint will be accepted.

Complaint regarding Log-in, Log-out, Non-availability of the question paper in Marathi or English, Non-submission of paper, students failed to appear for the exam due contraction of Covid-19, Overlapping of other exams with the university exam will be entertained. However, the university will scrutinize the complaints.

Students can apply for the examination from July 12 to July 14
Students who couldn’t apply for the second-semester exams will be able to apply for it between July 12 and July 14.
