Solapur Crime | Soon-to-be groom, two others die in accident near Akkalkot

Solapur : Deccan ExpressSolapur Crime | Three persons, including a soon-to-be groom, died in a car and truck collision while they were heading towards Ganagapur from Akkalkot after dedicating the wedding card at the Swami Samarth temple in Akkalkot. The youths hailed from Hinjewadi in Pune. The accident took place at around 11.30 pm at Binjager on Akkalkot-Gangapur road.

The deceased have been identified as Deepak Subhash Buchade (29), Akash Dnyaneshwar Sakhare (28) and Ashutosh Santosh Mane (23). Deepak’s uncle Chandrakant Raghuji Buchade (41) lodged a complaint in this regard with the Akkalkot (south) police station. An offence has been registered against an unknown truck driver.

Deepak was to get married on June 18. He was preparing for the occasion and had printed wedding cards. Before distributing them to friends and relatives, they travelled to Akkalkot, Tuljapur and Ganagapur to place the wedding card before the deities to begin the occasion auspiciously. Deepak called up his family members around 9 pm on Wednesday and told them that he was heading towards Ganagapur after visiting the Akkalkot temple. Later, they received a call from the police informing them about the car accident.

Some youths, along with Deepak’s uncle, from Marunji and Hinjewadi left for the accident spot after learning about the incident. When the complainant visited the rural hospital, Akkalkot, he learnt that the three had passed away.

Akash was famous for his ‘Akki’ reels

Akash was known as Akki in Hinjewadi area. He used to shoot reels and post them on social media. He was getting good response to his reels made on various songs. Numerous youths in the area were his fans. He also got married a few months ago.
