Pune : deccan express – Five cases of thefts have been reported from Wakad, Chakan, Alandi and Bhosari MIDC. Valuables amounting to Rs 14.92 lakh were stolen by unidentified thieves in these incidents. Offences were registered at the respective police stations on Tuesday.
A vehicle theft case was filed at the Wakad police station. A two-wheeler valued at Rs 1.60 lakh was stolen. A complaint was lodged by Yogesh Ganesh Sitapure (22) of Thergaon in this regard. The police are investigating the case.
Two thefts were registered at the Chakan police station. A two-wheeler worth Rs 80,000 belonging to complainant Nilesh Santosh Rathod (23) of Khed was stolen. In the second incident, unknown thieves broke into the storeroom of Sudarshan Auto Engineering owned by Sunil Marotrao Shelke (34) of Moshi.
They stole copper material amounting to
over Rs 11.37 lakh from the storeroom.
The Chakan police are investigating further.
A complaint each of silencer theft was lodged
at the Alandi and MIDC Bhosari police stations.
Omkar Chandrakant Daundkar (22) of Khed lodged a complaint in Alandi.
The silencer worth Rs 75,000 of a car belonging to his uncle was stolen.
The police are investigating the case.
Tushar Prabhakar Gholap (37) of Chinchwad lodged a complaint with the
MIDC Bhosari police stating that the silencer of his car valued
at Rs 40,000 was stolen. The police are investigating further.
