Pune: Aniruddha Deshpande, a city based builder, has tied up with a US company and is now one of the bidders for the Lavasa hill station project.
According to the information from sources bids have been put up by three firms to take over the project of Lavasa hill station. As soon as they will submit the resolution plan for further evaluation, the decision will be taken who will take over the project.
Now, these three firms have to meet the requirements. Deshpande in a partnership with InterUPS have entered and confirmed the bid. InterUPS is a private equity firm based out in New York.
According to the sources Deshpande would be working as an implementation partner and strategic investor. Some advisers will also be included in the team for the hill station project. Also the resolution plan would be submitted in the coming fortnight.
The other bidders are Royale Partners Investment Fund Ltd and UV Assets Reconstruction Company Ltd. All the 3 bidders need to submit the resolution plan for taking the project further.
The Central Public Grievance Portal has directed the state government to address the grievances of Lavasa residents as the citizens staying in Lavasa are hoping that the government should understand their problems ahead of the bid finalization.
Lavasa residents are going through a difficult time with the management of the private hill station under the resolution personnel appointed by the National company Law tribunal for the last 2 years. The department of administrative reforms and public grievances directed the state government to address the issue and terming it as a state subject and take action on it.
