Pune: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is busy fighting the COVID19 war on the socio-economic front and taking on his political opponents in Bengal and other states… But, at the same time he is a politician known to have a ‘direct connect’ with the citizens from across the country. A couple from Indapur tehsil of Pune district recently witnessed this when they received a reply from PM Modi to an invitation, they had sent to him for attending their marriage ceremony.
Nanasaheb Dhanawade Patil, a resident of Sarafwadi village in Indapur tehsil had sent an invitation to the PM and requested him to attend the marriage function of his son Deepak and Vaibhavi (bride). PM Modi’s office took cognizance of this letter and the Patil family received a congratulatory message from PM Modi himself.
In the reply PM Modi writes, “I am happy to know that Deepak and Vaibhavi are tying the knot. I thank you for remembering me on a joyous occasion of your family. Congratulations to the bride and bridegroom for a new beginning in their life. May you both lead a happy married life and your relationship become even stronger with time.”
