Pune Crime News : Policeman walks into Anti-Corruption Bureau’s trap

Deccan Express | Pune Crime News: A policeman from the rural police force was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while accepting a bribe of Rs 8,000. This has caused a sensation in the Pune rural police.

The arrested policeman has been identified as Darade. He was being booked by the ACB.

According to the police, Darade is attached to the Yavat police station. Earlier, the complainant was booked in a case. Darade demanded a bribe from him to help him escape an arrest. Hence, the complainant lodged a complaint with the ACB. The bureau cross-checked whether the complaint had any basis. It was proved that Darade had demanded the bribe. A trap was laid to nab Darade and he was caught red-handed. ACB officials filed a case in this regard.
