Pune COVID-19 Rules Violation | Dance party at Sinhgad Paytha, Case filed against 10 including well-known doctor

Pune : Deccan Express Pune COVID-19 Rules Violation | COVID-19 restriction remains in force in Pune and Maharashtra citing the threat of a third wave of deadly coronavirus pandemic. Following this, all tourism spots, gathering of people at public places are still banned. Meanwhile, police patrolling in the area came to know that a dance party was organised at Sanvi Resort at golewadi, Sinhagad Paytha. A local crime branch team of Pune Rural Police has raided the dance party and registered a case against 6 men and 4 women including the hotel owner. Nikhil Bhakre, a friend of the hotel owner and a well-known doctor at Bhakare Multispeciality Hospital in Ambegaon is absconding.

Vinay Subhash Kamble (age 32, resident of Akash Nagar, Warje),
Sandeep Shankar Kotwal (age 47, resident of Hingnemala, Hadapsar),
Sachin Vitthal Shinde (age 38, resident of Anandnagar, Sinhagad Road),
Kalidas Shashirao Kakade (age 50, resident of Hadapsar), Vitthal Vijay More (age 43, resident of Hadapsar),
Rajesh Balbhim Waghmare Waghmare (age 45, resident of Hadapsar) and four women have been booked at Haveli police station under sections 269, 270 and 188 of the IPC. Dr. Nikhil Bhakare has absconded.

While the Local Crime Branch, Pune was patrolling,
it was learned that a dance party was going on at Sanvi Resort
at Golewadi in Sinhagad Paytha and the District Collector’s order was violated.
The dance party was organized by resort owner Vinay Kamble and
Dr. Nikhil Bhakare of Bhakare Multispeciality Hospital at Dattanagar Chowk in Ambegaon.
