Pune : deccan express – A four-year-old boy was kidnapped from High Street in Baner while he was going by walk. The Pune police were searching for him. The police also made an appeal on social media to help find the child.
Finally, the boy was found at Punawale. He is safe, said the police. He was identified as Swarnav alias Duggu Satish Chavan. A kidnapping case was filed against an unidentified person at the Chatuhshrungi police in this regard. Swarnav was kidnapped by a scooter-rider. The incident took place at around 10.15 am on Tuesday not far away from the Balewadi police chowki. Swarnav’s father Satish Chavan is a doctor.
CP Amitabh Gupta, Joint CP Dr Ravindra Shisve, Addl CP Namdev Chavan, Addl CP Ramnath Pokale, DCP Namrata Patil, DCP Srinivas Ghadge, ACP Gajanan Tonpe, Senior PI Rajkumar Waghchaure, PI (Anti-Extortion Cell) Balaji Pandhre and many other police officers and personnel were trying very hard to find the kidnapped boy.
The police are still investigating the case and focusing on tracing the culprit.
