Pune : deccan express – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has become aggressive over a controversial statement made by MPCC president Nana Patole about PM Narendra Modi.
Pune Mayor Murlidhar Mohol has targeted Patole over his remarks about Modi. Mohol said Patole should resign as the MPCC president and get admitted to the Mental Hospital at Yerwada. He said, “Resign from your MPCC chief’s post and get admitted to the Yerwada Hospital. Your intellectual and mental strength is such that you need to be treated for the same. You are a regional chief of a ‘national’ party, though ‘national’ for the namesake. You should be aware what to say about the prime minister.”
BJP city unit chief Jagdish Mulik said, “MPCC chief Nana Patole has lost his mental balance. He needs urgent treatment. The MPCC cannot take care of Patole. Hence, we are sending him a money order for Rs 1,000 for the treatment.”
“Patole’s remark is like an attempt to spit on the Sun…His statements are a taint. He does not deserve to comment on Modi. Patole needs to be examined by a psychiatrist. He needs mental treatment” said Mulik.
