Pune : deccan express – Actor Nana Patekar has lauded District Guardian Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. “Ajit Pawar’s style of functioning is different. He never publicises his work. He continues working. His minor mistakes are highlighted. People should know what he is doing for society. He is a good leader,” said Patekar.
Patekar met Pawar on Saturday at Circuit House. Later, he interacted with the media. He said, “Work done by politicians is not publicised as required. Work done by actors gets more publicity. Work done by the government should not be neglected. The opposition parties have been elected by us. Opposition should be limited to elections. However, once you enter the state legislature and Parliament, sanctity should be maintained.”
“It is my view that a person who changes his party should not be given a poll ticket for five years. Then they will not change parties. There has to be some rule. Minimum educational qualification should be necessary to contest polls. Civil servants are educated. However, there is no age limit and educational qualification for actors and politicians,” said Patekar.
