Accused tries to flee from premises of Shivaji Nagar District and Sessions Court, arrested

Pune : Deccan Express Pune Crime News | The police arrested an accused who was trying to flee from the premises of the Shivaji Nagar District and Sessions Court. The accused was trying to flee by scaling a 20 foot high wall. (Pune Crime News)

 

The accused has been identified as Deepak Shivaji Jadhav (28), a resident of Katraj. Police constable Sachin Shinde has lodged a complaint at the Shivaji Nagar police station. The court had issued a warrant against Deepak Jadhav.

 

He had come to the court to get the warrant cancelled. The court handed him over to the police. When the hearing was underway, he escaped from the court and scaled a 20 foot high wall. However, the police chased him and arrested him. The court has remanded Jadhav to judicial custody. Jadhav has been sent to Yerawada jail.
