Mumbai : In view of the economic situation in the Corona crisis, the state Congress yesterday decided to announce a major aid to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. But now the NCP has also moved forward. NCP’s whole and sole Sharad Pawar has instructed the party to provide funds to the CM Relief Fund after he returned home from the hospital. Out of this, NCP has given Rs. 2 crore to the Chief Minister’s Assistance Fund.
NCP state president and state water resources minister Jayant Patil has said that all NCP MLAs will pay one month’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Assistance Fund. A total of Rs 2 crore is being provided by the NCP to the Chief Minister’s Assistance Fund for assistance in vaccination, Jayant Patil has also appealed to those who can afford the cost of vaccines to reduce the financial burden on the state by helping the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
In the meantime, extensive vaccination is essential in Maharashtra. On behalf of NCP Welfare Trust, NCP has given Rs.2 crore monthly salary of MLAs and MPs.
Meanwhile, Congress leader and Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat has also made a big announcement on the background of vaccination. Thorat decided to give his 1 year salary and 1 month salary of Congress MLAs to CM Relief Fund. Also, the cost of vaccination of 5000 employees of his nectar industry group Sangamner will be paid to the Chief Minister’s Assistance Fund.
