Rupali Chakankar resigns as president of NCP’s state women’s unit

Mumbai :  Deccan ExpressRupali Chakankar has resigned from the post of NCP women’s state president. Chakankar is President of State Women’s Commission. Hence, she has resigned from the post of women’s state president. Before the last assembly elections, Chitra Wagh had left the NCP and Chakankar was made the women’s state president.

 

Now, all eyes are on who will be made the president of the state women’s unit after Chakankar’s resignation. Chakankar has handled many important issues after being made the president of the state women’s commission. Hence, it has been decided to let her continue on that post.

 

Chakankar submitted her resignation to state party president Jayant Patil. After she submitted her resignation, many women requested her to take back her resignation and requested Jayant Patil not to accept her resignation. Chakankar told the women that although she has resigned from the post of state women’s president, she will continue to help and support them.
