Mumbai : Pune: Deccan Express – Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari | The Supreme Court has given protection from disqualification to 16 rebel Shiv Sena MLAs led by Eknath Shinde. Hence, the fate of the MVA government is hanging in balance. In this situation, the MVA government recently issued 160 GRs in three days. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has sought information about the GRs as a huge number of GRs were issued in such a short time.
Eknath Shinde is in Guwahati with rebel MLAs. Hence, there is a possibility that the MVA government is likely to collapse. Hence, on June 22, 23 and 24, the MVA government issued 160 GRs. BJP leader Praveen Darekar had raised an objection to the government’s move.
The governor has a note of the protest and sought an explanation from the state government on the GRs. The governor has sent a letter to the chief secretary. The letter says that the government should offer an explanation about the decisions taken on June 22, 23 and 24.
