Deccan Express: Deputy Chief Minister and Pune district Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar advised not to buy China-made solar panels at the petrol pump he inaugurated here on Friday.
Pawar inaugurated two petrol pump which is set up to collect Police Welfare Fund on the campus of Pune Rural Police Headquarters on Pashan Road and Baner Road.
Pawar lauded the efforts and praised the well-equiped petrol pump. while addressing the gathering he said, “the patrol pump needs lots of electricity and to curb the expenses towards it solar pannels should be installed. However, do not install solar pannel made in the channel but buy one which is made in Germany and other countries.”
Dilip Walse Patil, Maharashtra Home Minister, Rajesh Deshmukh, Collector, Abhinav Deshmukh, SP, Pune Rural Police were present on the occasion.
Ajit Pawar also stressed that citizens coming to refuel here should get adulteration-free patrol and concern people should be alert about it.
He also highlighted the increasing fuel prices and advised to have a CNG station as well as an electric charging station at the Petrol pump to meet the demand of CNG run and Electric vehicles.
While concluding Pawar also advised police to keep themselves away from bribery and other such things as it stains the image of police forces.
