Pune : Deccan Express Dilip Walse Patil | Union Minister Smriti Irani had come to Pune on Monday. She inaugurated a book written on Union Home Minister Amit Shah. NCP activists agitated during the programme. Then, activists of BJP and NCP came face to face which led to confusion. NCP leader Vaishali Nagwade was beaten up. Home Minister Dilip Wale Patil has given his reaction on the issue. If NCP activists have made mistakes, then FIR will be filed against them, he said.
“If NCP activists are at fault, then FIR will be filed against them but if BJP activists are at fault, then FIR will be filed against them. The act of male members of BJP beating up NCP’s women activists is condemnable. Hence, action will be taken against them,’’ Walse Patil said.
“I think that Congress, NCP and Shiv Sena are working together. If there is some disagreement on some issue, it is wrong to assume that there is some problem in MVA. Some party members may have expressed their opinion but we should remember that we have to fight the BJP. Hence, the three parties should work together,’’ he added.
