Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar were present at the inauguration of Mumbai Metro-2A and Metro-7 tests organized by Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority. Union Minister of State Ramdas Athavale, who was present at the time, said, “If there are any demands of the state, tell me. I will try to reach out to the Center and help” saying this Ajit Pawar targeted the Centre.
Speaking on the occasion, Ajit Pawar said, “Ramdas Athavale asked me and the Chief Minister to let me know if I need any help from the Center.” My only request to Ramdas Athavale is that if you are at the Center, then remind the Prime Minister Narendra Modi that why didn’t they come to Maharashtra? It is not known yet. “Give Maharashtra as much as you think is right, convey the message to them,” Pawar said.
Ajit Pawar further said that various infrastructure facilities are being set up in Mumbai and more works will be done in the near future. But the price of petrol has now reached hundreds in some cities. Therefore, Ajit Pawar has requested Ramdas Athavale to advise the Centre to pay attention to the price of petrol.
