BJP leader Harshvardhan Patil’s daughter Ankita to get married to Thackeray scion

Mumbai : Policenama online – State BJP leader Harshvardhan Patil on Tuesday met MNS chief Raj Thackeray here. He was present at Raj Thackeray’s residence Shiv Teerth with his daughter and son.

The reason for the visit was to extend an invitation to Raj Thackeray of his daughter Ankita’s marriage. Ankita has shared their visit’s photo on her facebook wall. Ankita will be marrying a Thackeray scion. Shiv Sena supremo’s grandson and Bindumadhav Thackeray’s son Nihar is the bridegroom.

The marriage will take place on December 28 in the presence of a handful of invitees. This was revealed by Harshvardhan Patil.

Ankita Patil is a ZP member. Nihar has done LLM and is a practising lawyer. Ankita has completed her education from the London School of Economics and Harvard University. She is also a member of the Indian Sugar Mills Association. Her marriage in the Thackeray family was a topic of discussion, of late.

Finally, BJP leader Harshvardhan Patil announced the matrimonial alliance. Bindumadhav died in an accident in 1996. It was a big shock for Balasaheb Thackeray. CM Uddhav Thackeray and Jaidev Thackeray are Nihar’s uncles. Raj Thackeray is his (cousin) uncle. This marriage has brought two big political families in Maharashtra together.
