Beed : deccan express – Bharatiya Janata Party leader Pankaja Munde and Nationalist Congress Party leader Dhananjay Munde always target each other by making sarcastic comments. Pankaja Munde severely criticised Dhananjay Munde during the campaigning for Vadavani nagar panchayat election in Beed district.
Dhananjay Munde has replied to the criticism by asking Pankaja whether she has forgotten the defeat in the 2019 elections.
Targeting Dhananjay Munde, Pankaja had said that she was among the first four ministers and was never the 32nd minister. Dhananjay Munde hit back by telling her that the common people had shown her rightful place in the 2019 elections.
He added that Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar had started the social justice department but she was criticising it and was insulting Dr Ambedkar. “When you were women’s and child development minister, rural development minister, the electorate in Parali had shown you the rightful place. I have the capacity to raise Rs 500 crore,’’ he said.
The leaders of Nationalist Congress Party have said that if NCP leaders are elected at five nagar panchayats, then, they will provide funds of Rs 100 crore. Pankaja had said that this adds up to Rs 500 crore and had questioned the party’s capability to raise the money.
In January, nagar panchayat elections are going to be held at Vadvani, Ashti, Patoda, Shirur and Kej in Beed district. The BJP has prepared a strategy for the elections and Dhananjay Munde has launched an aggressive campaign before the elections.
