One booked in bribery case, demanded 50 lakh for favorable judgment by Tehsildar

PCMC: The Anti-Corruption Bureau officials booked a resident of Dighi in a bribery case. He allegedly demanding a bribe to get a favorable judgment by Tehsildar in a land dispute case.

Acting on a complaint filed by a complainant ACB has lodged a complaint in Nigadi Police station. Police have identified the accused as Dilip Dandwate.

Dandawate is a stone crusher businessman who met the complainant recently. The complainant’s friend’s land is in depute due to the addition of names in the 7/12. Pimpri Chinchwad Tehsildar is hearing the case.

Accused met complainant and told him to pay Rs 50 lakh to get a favorable judgment by Tehsildar in the case. Later complainant reached ACB. After verification ACB officials lodge the bribery case today.
