Two blasts inside Jammu Air Force station, possible drone attack

Deccan Express|  Two blasts rocked Indian Air Force Station Jammu on the intervening night of June 26-27.  According to some reports, two drones were used to carry out explosions in the highly secured area.

The Air Force Based adjacent to the AirPort is managed by the IAF. After the incident, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh spoke to Vice Air Chief, Air Marshal, HS Arora. Air Marshal Vikram Singh is reaching Jammu to take stock of the situation.

Two blasts took place within a span of five minutes today early hours. Out of two blasts, one damaged the roof of a building says an official statement on Twitter. However, an official statement from the Defence PRO stated that there was no injury to any personnel or any damage to equipment.

Out of two blasts at Jammu Air Force Station, The first blast ripped off the roof of a building at 1:37 am while the second one was on the ground at 1:42 am.

The official Twitter handle of the Indian Air Force tweeted. “Two low-intensity explosions were reported early Sunday morning in the technical area of Jammu Air Force Station. One caused minor damage to the roof of a building while the other exploded in an open area. There was no damage to any equipment. The investigation is in progress along with civil agencies,”
