‘Kill Narendra Modi’ : NIA Receives Threat E-mail, PM’s Security Enhanced

New Delhi : A big conspiracy has been revealed regarding the assassination of Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been enhanced following an email that issued a direct threat to the PM, stating “Kill Narendra Modi”.

The investigation of the content of the e-mail has been started at the moment. According to the media report, the NIA has written a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs providing information about the email threatening to kill PM Modi.

“The NIA has received certain emails from an email ID threatening some dignitaries/agencies. The contents of the email are self-explanatory and copies of email are enclosed. It is requested to take action as deemed appropriate,” the probe agency wrote in its letter to MHA.

The email dated August 8 was received from the ‘[email protected]’ id. The NIA chose not do any inquiry/ verification on its own as it thought it best to pass it on to the apex intelligence assessment body, sources said.  Sources in the security establishment say that the origin of the e-mail has being tracked to a location outside India.

Due to the matter of direct threat to the life of the Prime Minister, the security agencies have become vigilant. According to the information, the security of the PM has been made more strict in view of the danger.

According to the report, the NIA has not conducted any investigation on its behalf in this matter. The NIA is in contact with several major security agencies. These include representatives from RAW, Intelligence Bureau (IB), Defense Intelligence. After this, security has been increased against external elements and terrorist activities and security agencies are on alert.
