Pune : Deccan Express – Pune News | A complaint has been lodged with the state Lokayukta on Monday against Tehsildar Jyoti Deore of Parner for allegedly embezzling Rs 5 crore 94 lakh 96 thousand 72 by misusing her public servant post.
The complaint was lodged by Rahul Jhaware, Sandeep Chaudhary, Dnyaneshwar Lanke and Suhas Salke through Adv Asim Sarode, Adv Ajit Deshpande and Adv Akshay Desai. This is the first case filed after the appointment of Judge Vidyadhar Kanade as the state’s Lokayukta. Advocate Sarode had organized a press conference with the complaint to inform about this.
At this time, Advocate Sarode said that the document related to the complaint filed by Kishore Mohanlal Bafna against Upper Tehsildar Dhule is important.
Because it is clear that when Deore was working as the Upper Tehsildar at Dhule, he embezzled Rs 1000 crore from 48.65 acres of municipal land.
While filing the evidence of corruption by Deore along with the petition, the complainants have relied on the report submitted to the Divisional Commissioner Nashik in the Joint Inquiry Committee.
