Pune : Deccan Express – Pune Aam Aadmi Party | The AAP is carrying out a public awareness drive on the tax being collected from people and the facilities which are provided to them. Corner meetings are being held in different parts of the city. A direct dialogue is being held with the citizens to understand their problems.
The AAP is going to conduct at least 5 to 10 corner meetings in each ward. Burning topics like hike in fuel prices and LPG price and costly electricity apart from local issues are going to be discussed in these meetings.
On Friday, corner meetings were held in Mamledar Kacheri, Khadakmal Aali and Mandai which were addressed by AAP’s transport wing’s state chief Srikant Acharya who urged the citizens to stand up with AAP which is fighting for the issues being faced by the common man.
Meanwhile, the youth leader of AAP from this area, Piyush Hingne, drew the attention of the people to local problems. Many citizens and AAP activists were present.
Manjusha Nayan of AAP said that similar corner meetings are being organised in different parts of the city.
