New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a virtual global investment roundtable summit on Thursday. At the conference, he will hold discussions with leading and sovereign wealth fund organizations and business leaders in the country.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, financial sector regulators and senior government officials will also be present at the meeting. Representatives of 20 of the world’s leading pension and sovereign wealth fund organizations will attend the meeting. These organizations manage assets of over 6 trillion.
Many big industrialists from India are also expected to attend the meeting. They include Ratan Tata, Mukesh Ambani, Deepak Parekh, Nandan Nilekani, Uday Kotak and Dilip Shanghavi. According to a statement issued by the government, the Indian economy and investment scenario will be discussed.

The event, organized by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India and the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund, will include world renowned institutional investors, Indian industrialists and many prominent personalities. Apart from this, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur and Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikant Das will also attend the event. Not only this, 20 representatives of the world’s largest pension and sovereign wealth funds, which manage $ 6 trillion, will also participate in the program.
