Nashik : Deccan Express | Nashik Accident News | Three teachers were killed on the spot when a tree fell on a moving car. According to the police, all three had gone to prepare HSC results. The accident took place on Wani-Nashik Road near Valakhed Phata in front of Fortune Company at around 5 pm today (Wednesday).
The deceased have been identified as Dattatraya Gokul Bachhav (age 51), Ramji Devram Bhoye (age 49), Nitin Soma Tayde (age 32, all residents of Rasbirari, Link Road, Nashik). All of them were working at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Secondary and Higher Secondary High School in Alangun. They used to up-down every day. The accident has been registered at Dindori Police Station.
According to the information received, all these teachers had gone to Alangun from Nashik to prepare the results of the upcoming 12th standard.
They were coming home from school from Alangun to Nashik and it was raining at around 5 pm on Wednesday evening. They were part of a group of seven teachers returning to Nashik from Alangun when an old tree fell on the rear side of their car at Valkhed Phata, a police official said. All three men (all three teachers) who were in the back seat died on the spot whereas the other four who were in the front along with the driver had a narrow escape, the official said.
