New Delhi : The Agricultural Reforms Bill was passed in the Lok Sabha on Thursday. After the bill was passed, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a tweet described it as an important moment for farmers. The Prime Minister wrote in the tweet, the passage of the Historical Agrarian Reform Bill in the Lok Sabha is an important moment for the country’s farmers and the agriculture sector. This bill will truly free the farmers from middlemen and all obstacles.
The Prime Minister said, with this agricultural reform bill, farmers will get new opportunities to sell their produce, which will increase their profits. With this, our agriculture sector will get the benefit of modern technology, whereas the farmers will be empowered.

In the tweet, the Prime Minister wrote, a lot of powers are engaged in confusing the farmers. I assure my farmer brothers and sisters that the minimum support price (MSP) and government procurement will continue. These bills are really going to empower the farmers by giving them many more options.

After the passage of the bill, there has been a response from many ministers and leaders. Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said, Lok Sabha has passed a historic bill in the interest of farmers today. Farmers will now be able to sell their crop outside the mandi, wherever they get good prices. Farmers will be free from exploitation by middlemen. Thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this historic law of farmers’ interest. Today, under the decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, one of the biggest reforms in the agricultural sector after independence got the approval of the Lok Sabha. India’s agriculture will be better linked to industries, farmers will get the right price for agricultural products and their life will be prosperous.
