New Delhi : Deccan Express | Supreme Court |The Mumbai High Court had decided to quash the notification issued by the Maharashtra government to regulate the rates imposed by private hospitals, nursing homes for the treatment of non-corona patients. Refusing to intervene, the apex court rejected the Maharashtra government’s plea.
Supreme Court Justice Dhananjay Chandrachud and Justice M. R. Shah’s bench said the state government could not issue such a notification.
Maharashtra government counsel Rahul Chitnis told the court that the Maharashtra government had issued a notification to regulate the rates imposed by private hospitals for the treatment of non-corona patients.

Pune : Deccan Express | Pune Crime |Pune police have seized a large stock of arms (Pune Crime) in connection with the murder of a notorious criminal. Former Lashkar Cantonment Board BJP corporator Vivek Mahadev Yadav had given the contract to the two killers. However, the police have already caught the two. A case has been registered against him (Pune Crime).
The arrested are Rajan John Rajamani (age 38, resident of Bhagyodaynagar, Kondhwa) and Ibrahim alias Hussain Yaqub Shaikh Ibrahim (age 27, resident of Wakad). A case has been registered at Kondhwa police station. Vivek Yadav and one of his accomplices are absconding and three squads have been dispatched to search for them.
Vivek Yadav is a former corporator of Lashkar Cantonment Board. In 2016, Yadav was shot at night during Ganeshotsav. The shooting was carried out by Bablu Gavli. Vivek Yadav had given the contract of murder of Bablu Gavli to both the accused on the ground of pre-shooting and prejudice. It was also decided where and how to kill him.
