Facility for charging electric vehicles has been made on the second floor of the public cart stand (Kohinoor) of the Municipal Corporation near Dadar (West), Plaza Cinema Hall. Here both parking and charging facilities have been made available at one place. Chief Minister Thackeray had given such instructions to provide facilities at the place of public car stands by conducting a practical survey to start charging stations in the premises due to the high number of electric vehicles.

– Seven electric vehicles can be charged at the same time, out of which four will be fast chargers, with each charger normally one vehicle in an hour, in this way 4 vehicles can be charged at the same time in an hour.

– Apart from this, there are three slow chargers. It takes 6 hours to charge a vehicle through this.

– For charging electric vehicles at this place, a fee of Rs 15 per unit will be charged. The special thing is that the charging station will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Advantages of electric vehicles –
