Deputy CM Ajit Pawar says will not pass the farmer Bill’s in Maharashtra

Pune: Recently, central government passed the farmers bill posing lot of criticism. Farmers in differnet state has staged protest against the cleared bill. Many opposition leaders has extended their support against the bill. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in an interaction with media in Pune, said that he would discuss with the experts the matter of farmer bills. Therefore, considering our state, Maharashtra will not pass this bill.

Earlier, 8 MPs were suspended for the monsoon session in the upper house due to their inappropriate behaviour in showing their dissent against the farmer bill clearance. National Congress Party (NCP) Chief Sharad Pawar also holded one day fast in order to protest the suspension of 8 MPs of Rajya Sabha. Currently, farmers in different state has staged protest against the bill all over the country.

On the dyanamics of coronavirus growth in the state, Ajit Pawar said that on one hand, corona infected patients are found. On the other hand, the number of patients going home after recovery is also higher. Therefore, the citizens have followed the protocols from the government during every festival till date. He also appealed same cooperation during Navratri and Dussehra.

Referring to reopening of temples and mosques in the state, he said, given the growing number of corona-infected patients across the country. The state government is making decisions with every citizen in mind. Everything is reopened in stages and there is a demand to open temples, mosques, gurdwaras, churches. We are thinking and planning on it as even we are in favour of opening it. We should make a careful step-by-step decision to prevent the spread of virus, said the Deputy CM.
