Mumbai : Deccan Express – Covid-19 Maharashtra | While the number of corona patients in the state is declining, the increase in Delta Plus patients (Covid-19 Maharashtra) is worrisome. On Tuesday, 4,355 new patients were registered in the state, while 4,240 people were corona-free in 24 hours. So far, 62 lakh 43 thousand 34 people have overcome corona in the state. The recovery rate of the state is 97.05 percent.
Delta Plus is said to be a dangerous variant of the Corona. The state has 103 patients of this variant. In a single day on Tuesday, 27 new Delta Plus patients were found in the state, according to the health department.
In the last 24 hours, 119 people have lost their lives due to corona in the state. As a result, the death rate in the state has reached 2.11 percent and no deaths have been reported in 38 municipal areas and districts. Currently, 49,752 patients are undergoing treatment for corona in the state. The highest number of 11 thousand 962 active patients are in Pune. Reassuringly, there are 15 districts in the state where the number of active patients is less than 100.
The number of patients in Mumbai is also declining and 270 new patients have been found in the last 24 hours. The number of corona-free patients is higher than the number of new patients, with 279 corona-free. So far, 7 lakh 20 thousand 478 people have overcome corona in Mumbai and the recovery rate has reached 97 per cent.
