New Delhi : India has reported 1,86,163 cases of Coronavirus on Thursday. This is the lowest figure in 44 days. Although the figure of deaths still remains above 3000. Karnataka has the highest number of deaths, followed by Tamil Nadu at number two.

This is the second time in a week when the infection figures have been less than two lakhs. For the first time, less than two lakh cases were reported on Monday. The last time on April 13, it was 1,85,295 cases.
During the last 24 hours, Karnataka has recorded the highest number of deaths at 476 while in Tamil Nadu, 474 people died. 188 people died in UP, 181 in Kerala, 178 in Punjab, 148 in Bengal, 117 in Delhi and 104 in Andhra Pradesh.
COVID-19 in Maharashtra –
On Thursday, 21,273 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Maharashtra, raising the total number of infections in the state to 56,72,180, while the death toll from the epidemic in the state increased to 92,225 with 425 deaths. The state health department gave this information.
According to the department, out of 425 deaths, 267 deaths occurred during the last 48 hours while 158 deaths were reported last week.
Apart from this, the number of dead has increased by 459. These figures have been added after being released by various municipalities and districts.That is, there has been a total increase of 884 in the death toll as compared to Wednesday.
