New Delhi : The online payment app Paytm has been removed from the Google Play Store. But the reason for the removal of this app from the Google Play Store is violation of Google guidelines. Google has apparently removed the Paytm app because it allegedly violates the company’s new rules around online gambling.
Paytm Payment and UPI App is developed by One97 Communication Ltd. It is not visible when searching this app on Google Play Store. However, the app already installed in Android smartphones is working.

There is currently no statement from the company about the removal of this app from the Google Play Store. Paytm is owned by Vijay Shekhar Sharma’s company One97 Communication Ltd.
