Mumbai : Deccan Express – Bhiwandi building collapses | The gallery of a one-storey building has collapsed in Bhiwandi’s Azmi Nagar area. One person was killed and 7 others were injured in the accident. The injured are being treated at the government hospital. According to the information received, the incident happened at around 10 am on Friday.
Shabbir Ansari’s house is in Tipu Sultan Chowk area of Azmi Nagar in the city. Shabbir had built an additional government building on the gallery of the house next to the house in the market area. Underneath this building are grocery stores as well as other shops. Citizens come here for shopping because of the market area and shops. Many people were also present at the time of the accident. During this, one person died after a part of the building collapsed. While seven others were injured.
The name of the deceased is Razak (age- 35-40). While Haseem Sheikh (35), Subeda Khatoon (35), Amina Ansari (45), Roshan Bano (30), Zara Kalam (12), Roji Fatima (14) and Zikra Ansari (14) are the names of the injured.
Notably, no one in the house was injured in the accident. However, a woman who had come to shop in the market and shop died. Many people got injured. The injured have been admitted to the Indira Gandhi Sub-District Hospital in the city for treatment. The condition of three of the injured is said to be critical. Fire brigade, police and disaster management rescue team reached the spot and started rescue work. The incident has been registered at Bhoiwada police station.
