Free webinars on career guidance for 10th and 12th students launched

Deccan Express | Maharashtra State Council of Educational Research and Training (Maha SCERT) launched free webinars on career guidance today. This webinar aims to provide free career guidance for SSC and HSC students.

Experts from different fields will guide students on careers in Arts, Commerce, Science, Technical Education, Fine Arts. Apart from these traditional subjects, experts will also guide students on emerging subjects in the webinar series. Career in Performing Arts, Defence, Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality among others are also part of the webinar

Varsha Gaikwad, Minister of school education also tweeted about the webinar. In the tweet, she asked students and teachers to share it with maximum students. She also appealed to all students to take benefit of these free webinars on career guidance.

SCERT has shared a timetable of 15 webinars which will be held till mid-September. These free of cost webinars will be available on the council’s YouTube channel 

Lectures on DD Sahyadri

The Covid-19 pandemic caused closer of school and all the lectures have gone online. But due to no or less internet connectivity in rural areas, many students were missing out on lectures.

There are many students who cannot afford mobile or laptops were also suffering.

To solve these issues, recently SCERT started telecasting lectures for 10th and 12th students on DD Sahyadri. The timetable is shared on the website of the council.

For 10th students, lectures on chapters like Probability, Similarity, Arithmetic Progression, Pythagoras theorem, statistic will be aired.

And for 12th students, lectures on Rotational dynamic, Accounts of not for profit concerns, Bodhatmak prakriya, Bhavana will be telecast. Lectures on these topics will be held on this Thursday and Friday.

According to the SCERT, soon there will start lectures for students from 1st to 9th standard. These lectures will be aired during the week at different timings except Sundays.

The timetable for students from these standards will be announced by the council soon.
