Pune: Deccan Express – Pune Crime | They went to a restaurant to celebrate their birthday. The waiter brought the cake given by the friends. A girl sitting on the next table argued with them saying she had ordered the cake for her boyfriend. The owner of the hotel and the bouncers beat up the youth and threw him out of the restaurant. They also pushed his friends and injured them. The youth was beaten up instead of eating a cake on his birthday.
A 27-year-old youth residing in Susgaon has lodged a complaint at the Chatuhshrungi police station. The police have registered a case against the restaurant owner and the bouncers. The incident took place at a bar located at Mahabaleshwar Chowk on Baner Road on Sunday midnight.
According to the police, the complainant along with his friends and cousin went to a bar to celebrate his birthday. At midnight, the waiter brought a cake purchased by his friends. A girl sitting on the next table argue with them saying that the cake had been brought by her for her boyfriend. When the complainant was explaining to the girl, the bouncers and the bar’s owner came there. They caught hold of his shirt and pushed him out of the bar. His friends were pushed aside. He was hurt on his head. The bouncers grabbed the cousin of the complainant and pushed him out of the bar. He was punched on his eyebrow and was injured. A case has been registered.
