Pune crime | Two criminals arrested, two pistols seized by Anti-Extortion Cell

Pune : deccan express   – Pune crime |  The Anti-Extortion Cell of the Pune police has arrested two criminals and recovered two country made pistols and 10 live cartridges from them. They were arrested near the bridge in Dattawadi.

The accused have been identified as Vishal Dnyaneshwar Renuse (26), a resident of Shukrawar Peth and Akash Kumar Shete (22), a resident of Shukrawar Peth and recovered goods worth Rs 81,000 from them. (Pune crime )

When the officials of AEC were patrolling, they received a tip off that two youths will be arriving near the bridge in Dattawadi with some pistols. A trap was laid and they were arrested and two pistols and 10 cartridges were recovered from them.

A case has been registered at Dattawadi police station. Assistant Police Inspector Sandeep Buwa is carrying out the further investigation.

This action was taken by a team including police inspector Vinayak Vetal, assistant police inspector Sandeep Bua, amaldar Nitin Kamble, Rajendra Landge, Prafful Chavan, Nitin Raval, Vivek Jadhav, Duryodhan Gurav and Hanumant Kande under the guidance of Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta, Joint CP Ravindra Shisve, Additional CP Ramnath Pokale, DCP Shrinivas Ghadge and ACP Gajanan Tompe.
