API Ashish Ramesh Kavathekar lodged a complaint at the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station in this regard. The incident took place between 5.38 pm on June 26 and 10.05 am on June 27 at the parking in front of Pyasa Bar on Sai Vishwa Society in Ambegaon Budruk.

According to the police, the accused conspired to kill Narendra Khaire by hitting on his sensitive organ spleen over an excuse of driving the car out from the parking lot. He received serious internal injuries and died. The assailants then lifted him and placed him at Shri Sai Motors. Vishnu Kadam saw this incident but did not report it to anybody. Had the victim received treatment in time, he could be saved. Hence, Kadam has also been booked. The four accused robbed Narendra Khaire of his wallet, a cellphone, a headphone, etc. The police reached the spot after they were informed that a body was lying at Shri Sai Motors. After checking the CCTV footage, they arrested the culprits.
