Pune Crime | Court orders to file charges against 5 for defrauding 43 lakh by promising of giving Porsche car for just Rs 50 lakh

Pune : Deccan Express – Pune Crime | A shocking case has come to light in which lakhs of rupees have been looted by l false promise of giving a luxury foreign-made car at a very low price (Pune Crime). The case involves a fake IPS officer. The court has directed Samarth police to file a case against five persons in this regard.

Raunak Dilip Oswal (resident of Padmaji Park, Bhavani Peth) had approached the court in this regard.

Accordingly, first class magistrate Janhvi Kelkar on Monday (August 30) ordered to file charges against Usman Hashmuddin Tamboli, Arshad Usman Tamboli, Mansoor Abdul Gafoor Syed (all three residents of Padmaji Park, Bhavani Peth), Hamid Syed and Ahmed Syed (both residents of Bhavani Peth).

According to the complaint filed in the court, Raunak Auswal and Tamboli and Syed have old family relations.

He took Rs 43 lakh by showing the lure of giving him a Porsche car confiscated in a crime worth Rs 2 crore for just Rs 50 lakh. Accused had introduced Suryavanshi to Osalwal. He did not get the car even after paying Rs 43 lakh. Oswal also came to know that Suryavanshi was a fake IPS officer.

In the case, Oswal lodged a complaint with the Samarth police station on June 15 alleging fraud, extortion and death threats. He also approached the Commissionerate of Police. As Tamboli and Syed continued to torture him mentally and physically, he appealed to the court. Adv Seoul Shah argued in court on behalf of Oswal.

After hearing the arguments of his lawyer in the court, First Class Magistrate Janavi Kelkar ordered to file a case in this regard.
