Pune : Deccan Express – Pune Crime | An incident of cheating has come to light in Pune wherein, despite being mandatory to transfer the land of the housing complex and the buildings to the society, it was not done for 25 years. An FIR has been registered against three developers at the Samarth police station. The developers have been identified as Purushottam Vitthaldas Ladda, Rajendra Mansukh Mantri and Ashok Vitthaldas Bajaj, all residents of White House, Sadashiv Peth.
Harakchand Devichand Jain (66), a resident of Vitthal Smruti Housing Society, Nana Peth has lodged a complaint at the Samarth police station. The incident happened from December 15, 1995 till now.
According to the police, Ms Ladda, Mantri and Bajaj are partners of a firm. They constructed a building Vitthal Smriti Housing Limited. It is mandatory to transfer the land of the housing complex and the buildings to the society. The developers did not do this till now. Whenever the complainant used to remind them, they used to tell him that they will do it.
However, after forming the society, the builders did not do the deed conveyance and hence, a case has been filed for cheating the complainant and the society.
