Mumbai : Inspector Bhimrao Ghadge had leveled serious allegations against the then Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh. A case has been registered against Parambir and 27 other police officers at the City Police Station in Akola on Wednesday night under various sections including the Atrocities Act. According to this, Parambir Singh is now likely to be arrested at any time.
Police Inspector Bhimrao Ghadge had lodged a serious complaint against Parambir alleging that he had links with the underworld. After this, a case has been registered against Parambir Singh. Now Parambir Singh could be arrested at any time in this case, according to sources. Meanwhile, PI Bhimrao Ghadge was arrested by former police commissioner Parambir Singh in a fake encounter case. Parambir had asked PI Ghadge to save some builders from crime. However, Ghadge had rejected Parambir Singh, saying he could not save the builders as there was strong evidence against them. Since Ghadge was not listening to him, Parambir had conspired to implicate him in a fake encounter. However, PI Ghadge was acquitted by the court during the investigation.
Meanwhile, Parambir had filed false charges against Ghadge for filing charges against six persons close to Singh against whom Ghadge had serious evidences. Later Ghadge and his wife were kept in an egg cell at the Taloja jail in Navi Mumbai, treating them as notorious criminals or a terrorists. PI Bhimrao Ghadge and his wife had spent 1 year and 2 months in egg cell without any crime.
