Nitin Landge Bribe Case | Hoarding bribery case in Pune, Maharashtra: Commission had to be paid to 16 people! Whole conversation recorded, Check court’s decision

Pune : Deccan Express – Nitin Landge Bribe Case | In the case of accepting a bribe of one lakh 18 thousand for signing the work order agreement for putting up hoardings, PA Dnyaneshwar Pingle, President of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation told the complainant contractor that out of the commission money, commission were to be paid to 16 people. Along with this, the conversation of the order to give 2% instead of 3% in commission to the permanent committee chairman Nitin Landge is also recorded. This argument was given by public prosecutor Ramesh Ghorpade in the court on Thursday. The information about this case being a big racket has come to the fore in the police investigation.

Advocate Ghorpade said that there is a need to investigate who is involved in this. He demanded four days police custody of the accused. The court has sent five people of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, including Landge, to police custody till August 21. Additional Sessions Judge S B Hedeau passed this order.

Standing committee chairman Nitin Landge, his PA Dnyaneshwar Kishan Rao Pingle (age 56), Arvind Bhimrao Kamble, Rajendra Jaywant Shinde, and Vijay Shambhulal Chawaria have been sent to police custody. The complainant is an advertising contractor. He had filled the tender for putting up hoardings in 26 different places in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipality.

After the work order was not issued even after the approval of the tender for 2019 and 2020, the contractor had contacted the PA of the Standing Committee Chairman, Dnyaneshwar Pingle. He demanded Rs.10 lakh at 3% of the bid amount. After negotiation, the deal was settled for Rs 6 lakh. Out of this, an amount of 1 lakh 18 thousand was given and it was decided to pay the rest. But taking an amount of 1 lakh 18 thousand, the Anti Corruption Bureau caught PA Dnyaneshwar Pingle and arrested five people. All were produced in the court on Thursday. Public prosecutor Ghorpade had sought police custody for four days to probe the matter.

Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Rajesh Bansode, Additional Superintendent Suraj Gurav, Additional Superintendent of Police Suhas Nadgouda – Deputy Superintendents of Police Seema Mehendle, Srihari Patil, Police Inspector Girish Sonawane, Havildar Sarita Vetal, Asyapak Inamdar, Ankush Chandrakant Inmaldar, Police Avchinash Kadam Anmaldar took this action.
