Mumbai : Deccan Express – A Hingoli-based man along with two women members of his family tried to commit suicide by pouring kerosene on their bodies. The man has been identified as Raju Channapa Hungunde of Malvata village. He said he wanted to take the extreme step as he was being harassed by PWD employees.
“I took a loan and completed the work of a road. The state government owes me Rs 1 crore 70 lakh but the government has not given me any money so far. I had also met Minister Ashok Chavan regarding this issue. Since, PWD employees are ignoring my plight, suicide is the option left for me,’’ Hungunde said.
